Ad hoc Harz Symposium

Jan 6, 2017 at 19:00 to Jan 8, 2017 at 12:00
Sankt Andreasberg, Harz (Germany)

This event is supposed take place in the spirit of the Ad hoc Leipzig symposium earlier this year. I.e. we don't want to fix too much in advance, just some topics we want to think about and roughly how to do it. But there will be no fixed schedule and we want to try to integrate our environment as much as possible. Experimenting with formats, style, location etc. is very much welcomed. We are also planning to hike a lot. To breath some fresh air, move some muscles and let the beautiful Harz fire our imaginations and thoughts.
Topics so far are going to be the Rhizome project, see here for a description, and careful thought on fundamental notions of physics, such as "space", "particle", "subsystem", "observer". Also, we want to discuss about the future shape of BRCP, to clarify our thinking of what it is supposed to be.
Everyone is welcomed to join!
